Reversing Billing on an Already Transferred-Out Rx

If a prescription has already been transferred out, the billing cannot be reversed directly. It must be reactivated first.

How to Reverse the Billing:


To reverse the billing, the prescription must first be reactivated:

  1. Select the prescription.
  1. Click Inactivate.
  1. When prompted, choose Activate under the actions section and confirm the prescription.
  1. Once the prescription is reactivated, reverse the billing by going into the rx screen and clicking adjudicate drug.
  1. After the reversal is complete, inactivate the prescription again in the patient profile rx history.

Important Notes:


  • Billing should ideally be reversed before transferring a prescription out.
  • This process should only be used when the transfer has already been completed and a billing reversal is still required.
